If You Want Me Too : by Ginny Owens
This song is my lifes theme song. I may not always know what God has in store for me, or why he is taking me on the path that he is, but I will go through the valley, if he wants me to...

Flashback Friday~
For Christmas this past year my Mom surprised me with this picture of my Grandmothers. Before I opened the present, I had figured it was a picture frame filled with photos of my family, but I can honestly say that I was completely, happily surprised and speechless when I opened it to find my young Grandmothers staring back at me. I just started crying (sentimental gifts typically do this to me) and I don't think my husband quite new what to do. I was just so happy. The artist that drew the picture did such a great job of making them look like the real thing. My grandma on the far left has passed away and I only had one picture of her and my Mom had kept it all these years (I thought it had been lost) and it was very worn, almost to shreds, but she had it and somehow managed to keep this entire present a secret from me (which that itself was a huge accomplishment.)

Maybe someday I will be a "morning person"
Okay, so I am a night person, always have been and I am afraid I always will be. :( I have these high hopes and dreams of becoming a morning person, but when I set the goal to wake up at 7 a.m. (which isn't even that early) I always hit snooze until at least 8:30 a.m.
If.... I have to be somewhere or up earlier for a meeting, doc's apt. you name it, I can force myself, but I don't like it.
I also regularly tell myself that I am going, 'to go to bed early tonight.' (Early would be by 10 p.m.) but that never happens either. Sometimes I think that if God blesses me with a child that that will for sure make me a morning person because I will be on the baby's schedule. However, I saw a title of a book once (that I secretly loved) that read, "I was a really good Mom before I had kids." LOL. I laugh at this because I sometimes act like I am a parent to my nieces and nephews and give advice to my Sister and Sister-n-law and they laugh at me, because at the end of the day I give them back so I don't see how life would be with them 24/7. My sister even offered to let me have her three children for 2 full weeks to see how I'd do- LOL- that hasn't happened yet. My point is, is that I think when I have kids they will take on my behaviors and also like to sleep in (which sleeping in for me is till 9 a.m. which I do not think is too unrealistic) like their future Mommy, and since they are children and will need their sleep they will want to go to bed around 8 p.m.
I can dream right! (even if it is day dreaming because I don't get enough sleep!) :)
So I guess until then, even though I am trying to be a morning person, I will be content with the fact that I am and may always be a "night owl."

Worship and Praise Sunday

Glory by: Selah
This is one of my favorite songs. The words that are highlighted in pink have so much meaning to me. I pray daily for someone who one day God will have victory over, and I can't wait for that day because this person will be SO AMAZING, and I know that when they finally break to pieces they will see Gods love and my love for them. One day I will see a miracle from God and I can't wait!!!
One day eyes that are blind will see you clearly
And one day all who deny will finally believe
One day hearts made of stone will break in pieces
And one day chains once unbroken will fall down at your feet
So we wait for that one day come quickly
Chorus
We want to see your Glory
Every knee falls down before thee
Every tongue offers you praise
With every hand raised
Singing Glory
To you and unto you only
We'll sing Glory to Your name
One day voices that lie will all be silent
One day all that's divided will be whole again
One day death will retreat and wave it's white flag
One day love will defeat the strongest enemy
So we wait for that one day come quickly
Chorus
We know not the day or the hour
Or the moments in between
But we know the end of the story
When we'll see
Chorus

Flashback Friday~
Okay, so there are three things that I have noticed by doing my very first 'Flashback Friday' (thanks DJ :) )
- I don't have very many pictures from when I was a child of me or any of my family members (Mom, you need to get on this, immediately)
- I may have more pictures but I can't find them, so at some point I need to organize my life! :)
- My Scanner has dust on it, because those little white specks are NOT on the original picture.

My Uncle Joe when he had teeth :) and short hair and a little mini me. I think he was around 14 and I think I was around 3yrs. old, my Mom will have to tell me for sure.

Love Dare Contest
On New Years Eve my Church watched the movie 'Fireproof.' I was out of town that week, so I borrowed the DVD when I returned. I LOVED this movie. And secretly I am glad that I was not at my Church when I watched it because I bawled my head off like a little baby. I couldn't stop sobbing, and they were a mix of sad and happy tears. If you haven't seen the movie, I highly recommend it. In the movie Kirk Cameron (The Husband) is challenged by his father to do a 'love dare' on his wife. I too am going to do the love dare, and I'm hoping to win a copy of the book from another bloggers contest. You could enter and win too. Go to the blogs I follow on the right hand side of my blog and click on 'Miller Racing Family' Once you get to their blog click on the 'Love Dare' book on the left hand side and read how to enter. Good Luck! :)

A trip down memory lane- American Princess!
DJ- This is just for you :) I don't have many pictures from my exp. on American Princess because they confiscated our camera's but I managed to get away with a few. :)
Michelle, Stephanie and Crystal after a LONG day at Ascot (A huge Horse Racing event in London, even the Queen was there) I think I whined more this day then any other day in my entire life. My poor feet hurt sooooo bad from these beautiful, much to expensive stiletto healed shoes. I swear it should be illegal to wear something that uncomfortable.
Carol, Me and Steph. The journey was over :( This pic. was taken on our flight home from London to New York.
The final three!!! We had made it to the very end, or so we thought. This was our last night in our Manor in England. The next day we took a train to Scotland to prepare for our last week and get ready for the ball. It was in Scotland that we were told not all three of us would make it to the finale. It was an emotional week.
Me and my girl Stephanie. This picture was taken right before we walked outside to find out our fate. The day before, the voted off contestants voted one of us out. Sadly it was my very good friend Stephanie. Later that night I went on to win 'American Princess.'It all seems so long ago. Just five short weeks of my life, but they are some of the best memories I have. I made some amazing friends that I will have for the rest of my life, and I am so thankful for the opportunity. It was a wonderful journey.
