Riding home from church tonight, my niece who I am taking to Disneyland, and I were talking and I was asking her if she was excited to fly up in the sky and her response was, "Yes, I am very excited because up there I will be closer to Jesus."
Speechless, and my heart melted. I love the minds of little children!

Sunshine is WONERFUL!!!
It is so beautiful today! I can't even explain how awesome I feel. I just got back from taking my dog Abby on a walk/jog. It was so refreshing. I think for the first time I am excited for summer (I am usually a cold weather person, I hate being too hot, unless I have a cold drink in hand and a beach within walking distance.) I also tend to listen to music in seasons. Fall/Winter is slow, usually depressing 'mood' music, and with this fabulous weather we are having I am ready to change the play list on my IPod and break out the summer tunes.
I leave for Disneyland in 6 days and I think I'm worse then the kids, I keep calling them up and telling their parents that at this time next week we will be there. I think I am more excited then they are :) Disneyland is such a happy place, I can't wait!
I hope everyone else is enjoying this awesome day!

Jilliam Michaels is my Hero! :)
So as most of you know I am a Reality Show junkie and right now my obsession is the Biggest Loser! I love that they did back to back seasons. (On a quick side note, Joelle from this season is seriously CRAZY!!! Not as bad as Vicky from last season- Vicky was just mean, but Joelle is on another planet.)
Don't get me wrong, I love Bob, how could you not, he is such a nice guy, but Jillian kicks some major butt, literally. I would LOVE to have her yelling at me and getting me into shape, she's no nonsense and she gets results.
On Tuesday she said something to one of the green team members (can't remember her name) that really hit home to me. The green teammate told Jillian that she needed to love herself more then she loved food and Jillian told her that she didn't love food and the next thing she said really got me thinking. She said, "You need to find something that fills your soul other then food." Wow! It really got me thinking. What do I fill my soul with other than food? Anything? And I say that I love food, but do I really? Or is it just masking something else, and the food is what is comforting and comfortable even though in the long run it makes me uncomforted and uncomfortable in my own skin. Hmmm, a lot to ponder.
So I have a question, what do you feed your soul with? other then food! I would love to hear others responses and ideas. Thanks in advance for sharing with me! :)

Playing around with pictures
So I'm still trying to learn all the bells and whistle's with my new camera. Lucky for me I babysat my nephew Tanner so I put him to work posing. He didn't mind too much, although towards the end he kept asking, "Auntie, are we done yet? I don't want to have my picture taken anymore." LOL. He was a good sport. So the below pictures are ones I took today and then when I down loaded them onto my computer I played around with the color, I was so excited b/c that was the one thing I wanted to learn. Yay! Let me know what you think! :)

House Pic's
See DJ, You are not the only one who still needs to decorate. And at least you have an excuse, you just moved in. I have no excuses.... It's just so hard, I'm being so picky about everything and I still need to pick out fun paint colors and paint. All in time I guess. :)

Pictures that I promised and more to come!
Thursday, January 1, 2009
I don't have much time to write, but wanted to let everyone know who reads my blog that I will be back up and writing next week. I also got a fabulous new camera for Christmas so new photos will be coming soon (including my bowling shoes- DJ :) ).
I am in Montana, and I have always loved coming here. Life is so much slower (especially in Great Falls, where I have been the past two days) and it gives me time to think and reflect on everything that is going on in my world. Today I have had too much time to think and reflect, so I am excited to get into Kalispell tomorrow and hopefully be distracted from my thoughts.
2008 has been a year of growth for me. And although many great things happened in 2008 ( I bought my first home, grew closer to God.) I am very excited for it to be over. I am looking forward to 2009 with hope, I have a feeling that it too will be another year of growth for me, but I know that Jesus will be by my side.
Until next week, take care and I hope you all have a Happy New Year!
